plump lips and smooth moderate to severe
facial wrinkles and folds
Restylane® is a family of popular hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to plump lips and smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Restylane® was the first hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA and can be used to treat a variety of common skin complaints like:
- Lost volume in the midface
- Smile lines or nasolabial folds
- Upper lip lines
- Thin lips
- Marionette lines
Am I A Candidate for Restylane?
Ideal candidates for Restylane® are bothered by signs of facial aging with moderate to severe facial wrinkles, nasolabial folds, or lost volume in the midface. You may be a good candidate for Restylane® injections if you are in good general health and have a realistic expectation for the outcome of the procedure. A complimentary consultation with one of our plastic surgeons can help you decide if Restylane® is the best option to reach your aesthetic goals.
How Are Restylane Injections Performed?
The Restylane® procedure in Daytona Beach usually takes less than 30 minutes in an office setting. Your Restylane® specialist will use a tiny needle to carefully place the filler along the lips or just under the skin. Restylane®, Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Lyft, Restylane® Defyne, and Restylane® Refyne all contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to make injections as easy as possible. Most people report nothing more than a slight pricking sensation.
Restylane® can be combined with other facial injections like Botox® which treats dynamic wrinkles that don’t respond as well to dermal fillers or Kybella® to treat a double chin.
What Is Recovery Like After
Restylane® injections do not require any downtime. Most people return to work or normal activities right after their appointment. You may notice some mild swelling, tenderness, and redness at the injection sites which resolve within a few hours. Bruising is not common, but may take up to one week to fade when it occurs. Because Restylane® can remain malleable in the skin for up to three days, it’s important to avoid vigorous rubbing of the area for the first three days.
Before & After
How Long Will My Restylane Results Last?
On average, the results of Restylane® treatment in the Ormond Beach area will last for six to nine months. Restylane® Defyne and Refyne, the latest additions to the Restylane® lineup, may last up to 12 months. Your results will fade gradually to restore the appearance you had before the injections. You can choose to maintain your results by scheduling repeated Restylane® treatments, however.
How Much Do Restylane Injections Cost?
On average, Restylane® injections in Daytona Beach and the surrounding areas costs about $500 to $600 per treatment area. The cost of Restylane® treatment will depend on the number of 1-cc syringes needed to achieve your desired results. At Divine Medspa, we accept a wide range of payment options. Other Dermal Fillers & Injectables We Offer
Dysport® works by using an active ingredient called botulinum toxin. When injected into the treated area, the botulinum toxin temporarily relaxes the underlying muscles and reduces the appearance of what we call “dynamic” wrinkles.
This filler works to plump the skin and create the appearance of a smoother, more youthful surface. Radiesse® is typically used to smooth moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, replacing lost volume, and creating a lifting effect of the midface.
Sculptra® is designed to address volume loss and hollowness of the cheeks, temples, and even jawline. It’s the first FDA-improved injectable treatment for restoring lost facial volume due to illness or aging.
