smooth away the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Dermal fillers and injectables refer to a variety of non-surgical cosmetic treatments that smooth away the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles throughout the face without the extensive downtime and recovery period associated with traditional cosmetic surgery. While dermal fillers typically replace lost volume in your treated areas to rid your wrinkles,
injectable treatments aim to relax the muscles in the treated areas that may be the root cause of the wrinkle itself.
Because dermal fillers and injectables work in two different ways to correct your skin imperfections, they can be used together to provide a beautifully natural-looking result. If you’re unsure which dermal fillers and injectables are right for you, we encourage you to come in for a private consultation with one of our staff members. They will be happy to sit down with you, listen to your biggest concerns and develop a fully personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your ultimate aesthetic goals.
What Dermal Fillers & Injectables Are Offered?
At Divine MedSpa, we offer the following dermal fillers and injectables:
Botox® is a popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure works to reduce the appearance of fine lines and “action wrinkles” by temporarily disrupting the signaling process neurons need to communicate with muscles.
Like Botox®, Dysport® is a popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment that temporarily relaxes the muscles causing fine lines and deep wrinkles across the forehead, around the eyes, between the brows, and along the bridge of the nose.
Radiesse® is a non-surgical dermal filler treatment made from calcium hydroxylapatite, which creates added volume under the skin and stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen for long-lasting results.
Sculptra® is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid-based cosmetic treatment. Its main ingredient, a form of lactic acid, stimulates the body’s natural collagen production to help tissue volumize gradually over time, relieving fine lines and wrinkles.
Juvéderm® is a family of hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler treatments used to fill facial wrinkles and folds, plump lips, and restore lost volume to the face and hands.
Restylane® was the first hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA in a family of popular dermal fillers used to plump lips and smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.
Your lip injection treatment will consist of a specialized formula of either Juvéderm® or Restylane®, made specifically to be thin enough to mold throughout the lips but thick enough to add a luscious plump to your pout.
The liquid facelift is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that strategically utilizes multiple types of dermal fillers and injectable treatments to mimic the results of a traditional facelift.
How Much Do Dermal Fillers
& Injectables Cost?
The cost of your dermal filler and injectable treatments at Divine MedSpa is going to vary depending on the type of treatment you choose to receive and the extent of that treatment needed to help you achieve your desired results. To get a better idea of how much your dermal filler and injectable treatment will cost, feel free to browse through our service pages and come in for a free consultation with one of our expert team members. Divine MedSpa accepts most forms of payment including cash, check and all major credit cards.
At What Age Should You Get Fillers?
There is no perfect age for receiving dermal filler treatments, as each person ages differently. However, dermal fillers are often an appropriate treatment to pursue before considering more invasive techniques like cosmetic surgery. For these reasons, if you are beginning to experience age-related volume loss without moderate to severe skin laxity, you may be a good candidate for fillers regardless of your age.
How Long Do Fillers Last in Cheeks?
The duration of your results from dermal fillers in the cheeks will depend on the dermal filler that is used for your treatment. Generally, however, dermal fillers will last between one to two years in the cheeks. If you would like to prolong these results, you can receive touch-up treatments in order to maintain your results.
Botox Before & After
How Quickly Do Fillers Work?
Dermal fillers work immediately upon being injected into the skin. You will notice an instant increase in skin volume in the treatment area after the injections are performed. However, keep in mind that you may also experience some swelling in these treatment areas, which can disguise your final results. So while results will be immediate, you may not be able to see your final results until any side effects fade in the days following treatment.
Are Lip Injections Permanent?
Dermal filler treatments are not a permanent treatment solution, and therefore, lip injections will not produce permanent results. Most lip injections will produce results that last between 6 and 12 months, since it is an area of the face that involves a lot of muscle movements and motion. Fortunately, if you want to prolong your results, you can easily receive touch-up treatments whenever necessary.
Can You Feel Filler in Your Face?
Dermal filler formulas are carefully created to integrate with the skin as seamlessly as possible. In the days following treatment, they bond with the natural moisture and structures in the skin. This means that your dermal filler will feel completely natural in your skin, helping you maintain a natural look and feel in the face.
