WHAT IS KYBELLA?
Kybella has been used for many years. It used to be called mesotherapy, but back then no product was tested or controlled by the FDA. In recent years, a company called Kythera manufactured a compound to destroy fat, which gained an FDA clearance in 2015, called Kybella.

A short amount of time after that, Allergan, the cosmeceutical giant, purchased Kythera and their product Kybella, and dropped the Kythera name.

Since then, this product has been gaining widespread popularity.

HOW DOES KYBELLA WORK?
In the digestive tract, deoxycholic acid breaks down fat by destroying the cell membrane. When injected into subcutaneous fat, this cytolytic drug does the same thing—in targeted locations. The dissolved fat is now cellular debris, and gets cleared into the lymphatic and circulatory systems by specialized immunologic cells. This happens gradually over the span of several weeks. As for the deoxycholic acid, it follows the same path; it gets metabolized and broken down, and then excreted as waste

WHAT IS TRUSCULPT 3D?
truSculpt 3D system uses premiere conductive RF delivery method to achieve selective, and effective disruption of the subcutaneous adipose tissue while maintaining comfortable surface temperatures.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
TruSculpt 3D delivers the targeted RF energy to destroy fat cells in the treatment area. It then uses the body’s natural system to break down and dispose of these cells. This process may take up to three months. Patients will begin to feel/see results within days that will gradually increase during and possibly beyond this three-month period.

During the treatment session, a handpiece gently glides along the area being treated, quickly warming up to a heat level within the patient's comfort level. It is designed to be a comfortable procedure and due to its proprietary design, the heating of the area will be tolerable.
